Taking a gonorrhoea test

People who are sexually active are advised to get regularly tested at a GUM clinic to prevent the spread and protect against sexually transmitted disease (STD). A gonorrhoea test can be carried out with a simple urinary analysis.

Although gonorrhoea can be tested for by using this simple procedure it is recommended that anyone who believes they are at risk of contracting a STD should get a complete check up. Gonorrhoea tests can even be conducted in one's own home, however this is only a reasonable option for those who have taken previous medical advice, such as those previously treated for gonorrhoea who want to assure themselves that it has been entirely eradicated.
