Why Liverpool meet and greet is so great

There's nothing more disheartening, when you disembark from a flight that's arriving back in the late evening, than the thought of hanging around waiting for a shuttle bus to take you the mile or so back to the car park. It's dark, it's raining and you just want to get home. What's more, you just never know who is lurking amidst the rows of cars - not a pleasant prospect for a woman travelling alone. However, when I travelled to a 3-day conference recently, flying out of Liverpool airport, I decided to do things a little differently by using a Liverpool meet and greet service.

And what a huge difference that decision made to my whole travel experience. When I got to Liverpool airport, I simply handed my car over to the parking company's chauffeur (see the sort of arrangement I mean here) and was then able to check in and focus on the journey ahead without having to give the car a second thought. Until, that is, I flew back three days later to find my trusty vehicle waiting for me on time and at the right terminal. Within a few minutes I was on the road - and as I drove out of John Lennon airport (find out more about the man), I have to confess to feeling relieved as I drove past the car park where I used to leave my car while travelling.
