It's a big, bad world out there - at least that's what all the media hype would have us believe. Stories of rising crime rates certainly make us all want to protect our property as best we can. Which is probably why secure parking at airports is growing in popularity these days. And at some UK airports there's also a meet and greet service which not only keeps your car safe but also makes life so much easier on your return from holiday or a business trip.
Take Meet and Greet Manchester, for example. Our next-door neighbour went on holiday earlier this month, and he decided to try out one of the airport parking companies (this sort of thing) for the first time. It was a great success - he wouldn't stop raving about how handy it had been to find his car waiting at the terminal on his return. Despite being driven insane by his effusive stream of praise for the car parking company, I couldn't help thinking what a great idea this was and we might well try it ourselves when we head off on our hols from Manchester airport (see here) next June.
