Moving to another country can be a daunting prospect, and you will probably find yourself worrying about things that are of little or no concern.
For example, I recently moved to Dubai for work. The country is wonderful, and the various Dubai projects are luxurious places to live.
There are some legal restrictions in Dubai, but as long as you remember things like alcohol should only be consumed in hotel bars, you should be happy and safe.
Dubai is also not as affected by the economic downtown as some places, which is why buying property there is very popular - just see how many estate agents there are.
